Understanding the user’s needs

The challenge was to create an efficient and immersive search experience for users, allowing them to explore MOMA’s vast collection with ease. Additionally, users needed a way to explore related artworks, making the search experience richer and more engaging.

Key Issues:

  • The need for comprehensive search filters.
  • Designing a detailed artwork page that provides valuable insights and connections between similar artworks.
  • Creating interactive graphs to visualize relationships between artworks.

Low-fidelity wireframes

During the design phase, I created wireframes to outline the structure and functionality of the search page and the detailed artwork page.

Low-fidelity wireframes have helped me identify in more detail each step/screen and action. The focus was on ensuring users could easily find and explore MOMA’s vast collection of artworks through an intuitive search process and interactive features.
